Her father, the rabbi, opposes the match because he is of another creed, and wishes her to marry a wealthy member of his congregation. A situation arises which leads the rabbi to believe that she has eloped with the violinist, and he orders her from the house, but happiness is restored all around when the wealthy women whom the violinists believes is his mother reveals the fact that he is Jewish, having been adopted.
